Design4Rail
Deisign4Rail (D4R) is a modular HW/SW ecosystem, specifically designed to help clients in designing, developing and building their own railway applications by leveraging on a variety of existing components, distributed among three main domains:
- Horizon: Focused on the User Interaction
- Application: Focused on HW/SW Applications
- Workplace: Focused on Services
Within each domain, the client can choose a different set of components, suitable to the actual design cycle phases.
GeminiX
GeminiX is a platform for the realization of redoundable safety-critical system with a high SIL based on “two-out-of-two (2oo2) composite fail-safe with fail-safe comparison” and implements base software and design hardware components that are independent of the final implementation. It is composed by three nodes (six with redundancy): A&B nodes manage safety tasks with the 2oo2 safety approachC node is a general-purpose machine managing “non-vital” tasks and standard devices.
GeminiX-OS
GeminiX-OS is a SIL4-certified Generic Product, a MISRA-C Source Code of the generic low-level software, which implements a real-time OS-like environment (cyclic scheduler), independent from the specific hardware. It included a complete Documentation Package.
GMX-RBC GP
GMX-RBC GP is a GeminiX-based implementation of an RBC Generic Product according to Subsets 026, 037, 039 and 098. SIL4 certification is under finalisation.
TrackPlanner
D4R:Horizon:TrackPlanner (TP) is a powerful and versatile modelling framework that simplifies several processes related to the railway signalling design (Layout Definition, Wayside Configuration Data Preparation, Simulation, Testing, …).It comes with a companion tool, the Library Manager, which creates and customizes the TP Object Library, allowing the user to specify object shapes and properties.
